Over 60 years and counting on Madison Beach, gave me my love of the water and all things that float or swim in it. We don’t have much of a ‘harbor’ per se, but our small Tuxis Island does offer some moderate protection given the right wind direction. I like to tell boaters we didn’t lose 1 boat in Hurricane Irene because there wasn’t a boat in the water in Madison! Given the spread out nature of our coastline I am afforded the opportunity to patrol occasionally by sailboat.
