I am the dockmaster at the Washington Waterfront Docks, a municipal marina on the Pamlico River about 25 SM west of the ICW in North Carolina. Washington is a friendly small town with excellent services for boaters, a range of amenities and amusements, an attractive park along 3/8 mile of waterfront , and over 600 feet of docks where you can stay at no cost. My staff and I are proud that the marina has the highest ratings in NC on Active Captain and has never gotten a rating below 5 stars on Dockwa.
