I am the Waterways Coordinator/Dock Master for the City of Jacksonville. After 32 years in Law Enforcement (including Marine Enforcement) I retired, and was offered this position in September 2006.
We coordinate all Boating facilities in Duval County including Metropolitan Park Marina, the North and South Bank Docks in Downtown Jacksonville and 26 boat ramp facilities. Our City has the St. John’s River and the Atlantic InterCoastal Waterway flowing through. We are a Major Port City.
