I started as Southwest Harbor Harbormaster on August 9th 2021. As a lifelong mariner, I’ve worked in most of the harbors around MDI as a deckhand, aquaculture crew, commercial fisherman, marine technician and licensed captain. Southwest has maintained its identity as a working harbor as well as a favorite pleasure boat destination. The people of Southwest Harbor embrace all mariners equally and endeavor to provide safe, well kept facilities for the future stewards of the great harbor!
